Stupid in a fun way - I got the mark to prove it!!!
Yeah, I love children. My girlfriend has two daughters and when we'll start living together the plan is to increase the family size by 2-3 more... I've always been a children-guy. Children usually love me and I love that feeling. Which is sometimes making me think: Why have I been put on hold (I'm turning 36 soon!!) while almost every family member old enough and all of my friends are having babies? But ... I believe in fate and I believe my fate lies with Veiga - my girlfriend. Time will prove me right or wrong... sorry, but I'm getting sidetracked...
A plunger mark on my bald head?
So, my aunt/niece (I'm Icelandic ... I'm not sure which word to use: our mothers are sisters) is visiting Akureyri with her husband and their 1 yr old daughter. I went to my aunt and there were many people there and it was fun. I sat on the floor playing with the little girl and to make her laugh I took this toy clown or something with this mini-plunger thingy at the end (probably intended to be put on refrigerators or windows...) and put it on my head. It got stuck, I shook my head several times and the little girl loved it... but when I was gonna take it off, it took a bit more force than I thought ... and while all my family members that were there did a little laughing (and took pics!!), I thought ... Hey, this mark will disappear shortly ...
But noooohhh!!! Of course I wasn't so lucky. This thing seems to have performed like a hickey-mark on my head, which will without a doubt interest many people when they'll see me. And on Monday ... of course I'm so lucky to be for five hours at the front desk at the library ... this mark (if it's like any other hickey...) will hopefully be gone in few days... but until then, I'll be like tiny Gorbachov or at least the laughing matter at work and between friends.
The good thing is: I love to make people laugh, so I think I'll be able to handle it ... but in retrospect ... maybe I should have thought this through before sticking this thing on my head
Come on, people.... laugh a little with me !
