I have actually lived in a haunted house. When my parents split, my mom rented an old and unusually cheap house out. She set me up a room, but the room was odd feeling because it had a door to the outside and this funky old fashioned hand doorbell to it. I hated that room, I cried and would not stay in it, crawling in bed with my mother every night.
I took a picture of my mom one day, and when we got the pictures developed there were smoke-like blobs in a doorway behind her...which happened to be the doorway of my bedroom. We didn't think too much of it, maybe just a film error. Then, one day my mom found out from the landlord that an old couple had lived in the house, the husband a doctor. He started getting more feeble and decided to have a home-patient care for terminally ill patients so he wouldn' have to be out and about as much. And, that people always died once they stayed there. Guess which room was his office? Yah!!! MINE
J always jumps at me during scary movies....and to make it worse a friend of ours creeped us out before he left. We traded creepy stories and decided to find all the "haunted" and scary local stories within an hour's distance and spend an entire night us three (and maybe another lucky contestant) driving out to cemetaries and old abandoned houses and bridges on the sides of the roads and walking along the edge of thick woods...
Halloween Fun!!!!!!!!

Haunted House was as about as far as I got into it. I don't like Haunted Houses, they're usually ill conceived. I would like a Haunted House that tried to defy the conventions of its architecture. Something like a haunted duplex.
Duplexes are scary.
