We got back from Boston yesterday after a wonderful weekend. My wife and I originally went for the New England Flower Show, but decided to make an anniversary celebration out of it. The Show was wonderful! Some of the displays were truly awe-inspiring, in particular a cactus display made to look like an underwater reef!
Of particular note were the Bonsai displays. While I have a masterful hand with orchids, bonsai seem to die the minute I get them home. So I let others do the work and I get to enjoy the display when the grower shows them off. Bonsai, to me at least, are the ultimate display of horticultural prowess. Successful culivation of bonsai eludes me, but perhaps one day will be an attainable goal. I suppose that what I'm trying to say is that I truly admire bonsai growers.
Other than that we did some shopping, had a little room service, and had a lot of "vacation sex." Hope everyone who reads this also had a magnificent weekend past!
