5 months. FUCK.
Anyone remember me? I don't.
In any case, I blame work. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but I'm just glad our project ends soon. I've had to throw in some extra hours getting the thing working well and filling in a bit for those who are on vacation or just away, but it's been a great ride and much fun was had. A couple of more weeks and it's a wrap. Can't wait. Well, I'm sorry that I've been away... This place changed a lot since then, looks nice.
Well, I'll get back to posting when my head is not hurting from the lack of sleep so ta-ta for now (just a day or two max, I swear).
And I'll leave you on this: Suppose you create a teleporter and it works by disintegrating people and recreating them far away. How do you prove you've actually teleported a person correctly - that it's the same person? The teleportee wouldn't know better, because he's got the same memory as the original. So he thinks he's him and for all intents and purposes he is - that is, from a 3rd person view. But is it the same person? Would the disintegratee agree? I would say no, because if you just create the copy and do not destroy the original, you have two different copies, yet they are both convinced to be the original to some degree.
I want to know how exactly that works, dammit. (and that's my cue to sleep)
