Day 17 part two

So I was sitting here having a terrible day. I was missing my family and friends back home. I'm worried about my Mom because of health issues she's having. And I want Subby home NOW. I then realize it's about 8:30 and I hadnt eaten dinner yet. So I decide I'll take Sugar to subway with me since she LOVES car rides.

I realized something was wrong because she was laying on the chair panting heavily when it's only 70 degs in the house. Not too concerned yet, I grab her leash and click it which will usually make her fly to me....she barely lifts her head, whines, and puts her head back down. So I start using puppy talk which usually throws her into hyper mode....instead she just slides off the chair and stays on the floor. Then I see the left side of her face. It's swollen so large her eye is closed.

Run to the Emergency Vet which turns out to be only about a half hour away. Thankfully it was nothing too serious. She tried to eat a wasp. It was still stuck up between her gums and cheek She got two shots that took the swelling down and will protect her for 3 weeks incase she tries it again.

I fucking hate my life right now.
