Day 13.
I am very, very, VERY tired. I laid down with Sugar on the couch last night. It didn't seem right to put her in the kennel when she hadnt eaten and barely drank water all day. So I fitfully slept from 11 to 1am when I woke up because I heard her slide off the couch. Then I heard doing some serious catch up drinking. So I got up and tried to feed her the boil chicken and white rice I'd made her earlier....and she ate half of it right up.
I almost cried I was so happy.
This morning she is straight back to her normal puppy self: eating, drinking, tryin to sniff cat butt. Talk about relief. So I will be going to work today, even though I am dead tired from severe lack of sleep. But I don't even care, my puppers is OK.
Yeah, this may sound like too much worrying, but my pets are my children. Simple as that.

It doesn't sound like too much worrying to me at all - pets are your family, same as your kids or your sibs. When you have kids, you sit up with them all night to make sure they're ok. Same thing when my dogs get sick - I make sure they're taken care of and comfy. No shame in that at all!
(BTW, hi! I'm Heathyr Wynne - I'm from KCMO, so I added you - hope you don't mind!)
