So to add onto the fun of this past week I had a very close encounter with a lightning bolt.

Scared me senseless...ask Subby, he had to grab me as I went reeling backwards to prevent me from falling on my ass.

That shit was crazy, bright as hell, incredibly loud, and way to fucking close! Made the hair on my arms and back of my neck stand straight the fuck up and then I had the shakes for a good 20 minutes.



Note to self: It is not cool to step on the deck to watch a lightning storm.

Course I wouldn't have done so if I had realized it was THAT close. Needless to say we booked back into the house asap and continues to watch the shit strike down all around the house. Our neighbor across the street was laughin cuz he saw the whole ordeal and prolly never saw either one of us move so fuckin fast LOL

I've really never seen anything like that before. Just so you know, lightning looks totally different when you see it strike a few feet from your face!
