Some people hate the idea that a human being can have a viewpoint that conflicts so violently with theirs.
Apparently there is a large contingent herein that has absolutely no tolerance for any sort of disregard for human life, no matter what the situation (though Im pretty sure that these people are pro-choice. ironic, isnt it?). I was run in circles and berated for 4 pages merely because I support the idea that in war, people will get hurt, and people will die. Not, that I support war, but that I support and understand that, in war, people arent having a fun time.
But, apparently people would prefer it if the US would make war a time of hugs and bunnies. Sure, they crashed a plane into a civilian building, but if we hug them hard enough, theyll love us back!
(Ok, now that probably wasnt fair, but I excel at exaggeration).
Oh, and Ive come to realize that the CE boards are not so much a gripping debate of current events as theyre just a place for the hippies to glad-hand each other and pat each other on the back (not to mention decry people with differing views on morality or war or politics as either being nazis, wanna-be cowboys or simply idiots).
We really need a larger Conservative contingent around here. Not because I agree or get along with them either, but because then, at least we'd have some semblance of balance.
Liberals can promote an anti-democracy just as well as the right-wing.
