Polyamory/Polygamy STILL makes my fucking brain hurt.
I just had a wonderful conversation in the ever-so-rad SG chat wherein we spoke of this very subject.

When did committing to one person become so fucking un-hip? Yeah, its kind of a sacrifice to not be able to fuck everyone on the planet like you could when you were single, but isnt a real commitment sometimes about sacrifice? Without sacrifice, how exactly are you showing a person you care about them in committing to them? I dunno, but the idea of a person saying to me "Hey, lets get married!" makes me think "Oh, wow, this person cares enough about me to want to date me exclusively for the rest of their lives." which is pretty fucking rad.
Now the idea of a person saying to me "Lets get married, but I still wanna be able to fuck other dudes." makes me think "Are you high slut?" which is much less rad.

Fuck now Im all pissed off.

Im gonna go watch Bill OReilly and vote for Dubya. Maybe he'll be able to straighten the country out and get rid of you damn heathens.
