Well it's been a bit since I wrote a blog entry, so I reckon it's about time to get caught up on the week. this has been a crazy busy week following a crazy busy weekend.
Last weekend I worked a grand total of 32 hours between saturday and sunday. Saturday I had my first drill with the Maryland Air National Guard. Got settled into the fire department out there and officially started my national guard career. Pretty glad I got that squared away. Also found out that this summer I'll more likely than not be heading to Baghdad for 4 months, I'm pretty excited about that. Just praying that the election doesn't mess that up. I guess I'm one of those 30% of Americans who think we belong there and that we are really doing good works. Anyways, both saturday and sunday I worked shifts at the Myerhoff bar, both pretty slow nights though, didn't make much in the way of tips unfortunately. Just not very busy.
This week was pretty crazy though. Monday I was really hurting after the weekend and didn't make it to class until almost an hour late. But it wasn't really important, things in that class are working out, even with my constant disagreements with one of my other group members. But that's a different story for a different time.
Tuesday was rough to. I went out monday and tuesday nights, drank a little too much. Getting drunk during a presidential debate is an American past time. The more I watch these two yahoos the less I want to vote for either of them. I really wish there were a better option. How either party temporarily lost their minds and nominated these people boggles the mind. I guess lack of options.
It's thursday night now though, my week is officially over. No work or school tomorrow, maybe I can get out and get something productive done.
