I'm back and better than ever.
I got out of the military in August and now I'm back to school in Baltimore as a full time student at the University of Baltimore. I've got a cool job working as a bartender at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and I live in a great little apartment right in the heart of Mount Vernon, midtown Baltimore.
I really couldn't be much happier right now.
I'd like to say that I'm a much different person that I was when I used to be active in SG. I've cleaned myself up, most people would now describe me less as the "uberjock firefighter" and more as the clean cut, put together prep. No more silly t-shirts and torn jeans, it's all dress shirts and suits for me now.
Don't think that means I've forgotten how to party though. It's just that now my idea of a great night out is more likely to be drinking Manhattans in a trendy midtown bar instead of downing beer bongs and doing shots out of some random girl's navel. I'd like to think that if anything I'm much more outgoing and social now. It used to take large quantities of alcohol to get me to be social, but now I don't even have to be drinking to just talk to people and have a really great time.
I like where I am right. I love this city.
