I'm in college station, Texas now. I had a wild time in Little Rock. Ok, maybe "wild" isn't the best term. I did have fun though. Got to see a lot of old friends, finally go to some great bars I couldn't get in to when I lived there. Met some hot sorority chicks from UALR that were hanging out with a friend of mine... Read More
Well I finally made it back to Texas, be it for only 3 weeks. I had a great flight over here. If anybody is considering flying between Dallas and London, take the British Airways flight. I've done it with BA and American, and BA was so much nicer. Better food, unlimited free drinks, and free snacks.
So now that I'm back I'm left with the... Read More
Glasgow is an amazing city, full of amazing people. I just got back from a short 3 day holiday up there, and I had a BLAST. The night my friends and I got into town we met up with Dixy and her boyfriend Cambridge who took us to the Solid Rock, a great bar that played good metal and rock music. They told us all... Oh! I just realized that I've been here at SG for 2 years now. Incredible. It's been a great 2 years. I've gotten to see SuicideGirls.com evolve and grow. I've gotten to see how much the artists, the girls, the members, the site itself have all changed.
I've also changed my habits for SG over time. When I first joined it was just to hit... Read More
I just got back from Scotland. Had such a great time. Took an entire day to drive up, and another full day to drive back. On the drives we saw some great sights though, Hadrian's wall, Rosslyn Chapel, Doune Castle.
In Scotland we snowboarded on Glen Coe and Aonach Mor. Also got to see some cool stuff in Scotland, like the spot where Hogwarts is... Read More
I had the wierdest dream last night. It involved multiple parts that didn't really have anything to do with each other, and didn't really make any sense. The first part involved a college campus that was within the campus of another, larger, college. And while I was there an air raid practice alarm sounded and I was the only person without my MkII gas mask... Read More
I'm tossing around the idea of doing a video blog. But I really don't know what to say in it, so I haven't done it yet. Maybe next time something interesting happens I'll do one. And maybe if I'm lucky somebody will watch it.
hehe, I just read your reply to the whole calling hilary ugly malarchy, and when I saw that you were from UK, I was like, WOW, this english dude gives an ef' about New York!?!?! Hehe, then I saw you were fromthe US originally, so, whatever, but all in all I agreed with what you wrote!
Supporting ones country's troops should be natural to everyone who's country is at war. Fuck - if there's a time to be patriotic.....!!!!
In every war there's always been a few kooks at the margins acting against the interests of the country. They were always marginalised. Sometimes they were jailed.
Today they are seemingly the mainstream, and supporting the troops and the cause is seen as "reactionary". The enemy see this and get emboldened.
If we are fucked, it is nothing to do with Islamists, it is everything to do with those that are, at best like Neville Chamberlaine, at worst like Lord Hawhaw.
But when I look back at this war and speak about it to my grandchildren, I'll at least be able to say "I wasn't one of those jerkoffs".
I need to just vent about myself for a little while. I've been having a "crisis of future" all day, and it's really starting to get to me. I'm just, I guess, afraid that I'll get lost here in the real world. That I'll never get back to college and back on the path I was on.
