Thanks for your comment. As far as your 'challenge' -- the things you read are simply transcriptions of images in my head that come from experiences I've had. So they aren't really 'ideas' per say.
That's the way I have to do it. I'm unsure whether art (or good art at least) can be engineered. For me it has to start with a resident image or feeling, and the craft follows. I've tried to do it the other way around, and the writing simply sounds contrived, awkward, impersonal, and lacks resonance and power. Perhaps you are the same way with the art you create.
So, it's a long-winded way of saying that the more experiences I have with you guys, the more likely it is that I'll be able to think of a fitting photographic theme.
can i tell you something?
my sis - the one in w. seattle - her cat was run over by a car a few days before bush was voted back into office. talk about a one-two punch.
she has a little plant growing now from the dish they used to feed her from.
i hope you find another little guy soon to fill your lives up. and you've still got kiley.
so i hope your holidays are lovely - both yours and blyss. you two have a lot of love in your little nexus that most people in this world do not. it sounds like you know how to worship that energy, in your own way.
