Bloody hell, it's been a while.... ok Skuzzy Bogie'll playing in the next month or so... we finally found a drummer, and a vocalist who works well... actually i've kinda been hittin on her for a while now too.. i did end up getting laid off, which sucks ass.... my p.t. job just relocated across town and i'm still not sure yet if i'm gonna be able to go back there... drummer's a dork and a half... but he'll do for now.. might even work out well if we can get him on track... it kinda sucks being the oldest one in the group.. it's like they fight and argue and i end up being like, the parental figure I.E:"tell him to put my guitar down" & "yell at him he started it"... it sucks though.. i love my guitarist and singer.. the three of us work together and it's like a gift from a muse... if we can get the drummer up to speed that'd be kinda nice too... i think we go in tomorrow to record for the rupert bomb's compilation... i'm not sure if i've mentioned it or not here, but a local band is putting out a 3cd set in a few months.. the premise is that it's one recording day in a radio station... call-ins and interviews and shit and all... their having all the local bands they can get, and giving them the same set of lyrics and telling em to make it a song.. i've heard like three of the versions that are gonna be on this cd... and i have been very impressed... the lurking corpses (they kinda sound like old misfits) did one that just blew our versionoutta the water.. the fritz, a local politikal/ska/skunk band did theirs and it sounds nothing like em.. they did it all funk.. but it's still badassed... our's is reggae/oi... when i get the recording back which will probably be in a couple weeks, any of you can im me and if possible i will send you ours...
