I learned some Civil War era dancing on Friday (I never plan for these things to happenthey just do).
I learned that I and my brother will be performing an extended magic show, in a couple of weekshe just hadnt thought to let me in on it (its great when you learn about the great show your going to perform, from a strangerwhen you dont even know about it). Got to get our old stage stuff together. Oh wellits for a fatty $400+ check and I need that.
Back at school. Im digging in. And now I will hide myself away in a little mind cave and make the dash to finishing this book (or rather a draft of it) by the 26th. Its a little scary. But thenRay Bradbury wrote The Martian Chronicles in something like nine days, on a type writer, at a library, that he had to pay for by the hour. Ive got my own desktop, laptop, and a 400+ (thats twice in this post that Ive mentioned the sum 400+ and they are both completely unrelated) song playlist to get me there.
Neil Gaiman said that writing a book was a lot like one of those cartoon characters running off a click they can keep running on air as long as they dont look down.
Dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down dont look down.

edited to add:
doppleganger too, yes: hopefully this chic doesn't cause trouble at MY local bars, or she and I will have to have it out. No one interferes with my gluttony!
