Well..
Dragon*Con was amazing. Met wonderful people, danced, oogled damn near everyone, and even drank a little. I walked (Drove) away from Atlanta broke, worn out, blistered, a little confused and with a headache that would last three days. I also left with oodles of nerdy t shirts, vinyl toys, bumper stickers, a little piece of Barry Bostwick and Bruce Davison, goggles and stories to giggle to silently.
I'd bother you with the 500+ pictures, but the only people on here that would care to see them will have had the personal slide show from me, either in person or virtually. I'm already brainstorming for next years costumes.
I'm a bit of a different person at cons. I'm pretty shy and quiet around the unfamiliar. I'm the complete opposite at home. Throw me in a room full of people and I'll make a few friends in no time. Throw me in a roomful alone at con and I look around the room with a frightened look, which is ridiculous. D*C is the ONE place where you can be whoever you want to be, especially yourself.
If you ever, ever get the chance to go, do it. There's always someone wearing less than you, someone who's sluttier than you, drunker than you, and crossing more boundaries than you. You can always justify your actions
In other news? Hmm... my ipod gave me the little folder of death...and if feels great to be in my own bed and sleeping naked again.
Till my next babblefest...
