HEY!!!! Which Superchunk show was this? In Tampa?! I was there, and about 4 people away from you...up front. I swear i remember seeing you there. Such a great show. I was able to see them in Brooklyn 2 months prior and I was on the Jimmy Fallon show behind them dancing when they played. AWESOME!!!!!
Very pretty picture too!

I know all about itchy tattoos. A few tattoos ago, my skin had an apparent allergic reaction to the ink, and itched like mad. Even well after healing, I had an uncontrollable itch on that tattoo. Months later, I thought, "THere's no wy I can live with this itch for the rest of my life. I'd rather tear the skin right off!" Thankfully, about 9 months after getting the damn thing, the itching ceased. Yeesh.
Superchunk was amazing. As if I expected anything else. They played a little of everything and teased us by telling us how they were *thinking* of doing a Bad Brains song. It was quite the show. Titus Andronicus opened for them. Wow. They also put on one hell of a show. A local band, New Bruises, started the whole evening. They were rushed, but fun.... Read More

Kicked my ass. I worked 8am-10pm. My mind and body are both exhausted. Now, I'm sitting at home with home made hot chocolate and watching Love Actually. This, I am okay with.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I spent the evening drinking beers with my bests, eating wings and dying hair. It was quite the fantastic evening. I'm heading to bed shortly, I have a long day tomorrow. I couldn't say. I was mostly just paying attention to the bouts and the people in my immediate vicinity. I probably did while frequently walking all over looking for souvenir merch from far-away teams (didn't find much but Windy City [obviously] and the Texecutioners), but all the many different league shirts I saw just kinda became one big blur after awhile. I'd love to go next year, wherever it is, if I can. I may also need to get with the support staff of my fav team too, as after going to this I found how few people I had to really talk derby to. lol
I wanted to apologize for all the emails left unread and comments left un-returned. My laptop cord frazzled out on me, so my only source of internet is on my phone which isn't too fond of suicide girls. Or any of my usual sites for that matter. I should be back soon. Le sigh.
