Alright, so the new update in my messed up little family of mine is that my crazed (but lovable...and senile) Nana is going to be moving in with my parents. Now, most people would either see this as a genuine gesture of family....ness. while others would think its a total invasion of privacy. I see it from both sides.
My dad wants his mother to be around people so that she doens't go crazy and have someone to depend on. My mom on the other hand...as much as she loves her mother-in-law, doesn't want to deal with the clash of decorating styles, the way my Nana repeats herself, the invasion of privacy, how my Nana repeats herself, and how her and my dad won't have that "children have left the nest and its now the time in our lives to once again focus on each other and cherish our remaining years" thing that parents do.
I thankfully won't be living with them when this happens, but my little brother will, and I know how my brother feels about my Nana and I know how my mom feels about my Nana, but it doesn't feel that my Dad gets it. I don't want to butt into something that isn't my business, but...ugh, I just don't know what to do.
