Well, I had a very interesting weekend. Friday night I went to my brother's 26th birthday party at 2020 in Santa Monica. My friends and I danced our asses off to a great 80's cover band called Fast Times. Sweaty fun was had by all. The two photos below represent my brother and me at the beginning of the night and the end. The girl between us is Melissa. We have been friends with her since she and Adam were babies. She is getting married in nine months and my brother is her "man of honor." I keep telling her she needs to make him wear a bride's maid's gown.

Saturday I saw the Banksy art show downtown with my friend Jeremy. It had a pink elephant and a bunch of great paintings.

We then went to the "tobacco district" and he bought a new hookah. I got a little glass pipe that Jeremy talked the guy into throwing in for free. I bought it from Jeremy for 3 tacos at El Taurino.

Saturday night was spent at various fun parties at various friends' houses. I broke a light switch while playing darts. Don't ask.

I spent Sunday with my family; we went to the Grove, saw the Protector (an Asian action film not to be confused with the Guardian, the latest Kevin Costner film) and had dinner after.

It would have a great weekend, except that I found out that my Rabbi didn't die in a car accident, he committed suicide.
