okay okay okay......so time for a new post......
Well to start off this past weekend was PAX....Penny Arcade Expo here in Seattle where an estimated 33,000 people from around the world gather to play games. Board games, video games computer games etc...Sadly I did not get to make it to PAX but i did enjoy the pre-expo events.
Thus being Thursday day was the Pre-PAX movie, where a whole bunch of PAX kids gather and go see a movie to talk through it ridicule it and have some down right fun. Well this year we went to see The Invasion (the one with Nicole Kidman.). Let me just back track for a second and state that it was a 4:40pm movie in the afternoon in the middle of a work week. SO as expected we did are hsare of laughing and hooting and hollering and tallking and maybe 20 min. into the movie of Zombie people, kids killing dogs movie we were asked to exit the theater. This happening much to our confusion. freckle, Burtlo, Aperock, and I exited. We were then told that we had to leave the premises because some other customer veiwers were complaing that we were rude and loud and a disrution. We were then told that the management was nice enough to refund our money and we would be escorted out. By escorted out you would think that, that just meant the theater. Oh no!! This meant they would escort us out the theater down 4 flights of escalators, out the door of the mini-mall and down the sidewalk to the corner until we crossed the street to the other side. WTF!!!
Are you kidding me, do they even have the legal right to do so. This management guy and rent-a-cop person. Last I checked I didn't think so.....grr....
Well although confused and slightly disappointed, all of us managed to acquire some PAX kids who also kicked out and they joined us on our trek a block and a half to GAMEWORKS..where we then preceded to Play games and drink alcohol. We had a merry jolly time, esp while I played on freckle's one of a kind Pikachu yellow DS. I played Pokemon!!!!
After spending a couple of hours at Gameworks we then discussed going to go see the pre PAX nerdcore show at the High-dive here in town. We then parted ways to go change out of work clothes and get ready. I hooked up with Burtlo and Dan the pax kid we adopted from Boston. We ate a Dad Watson's (yummy tater tots and mac and cheese) inhope to meet up with freckle and Aperock. I think they went to bed after a long day of work.
Well after filling our empty stomachs on great food and great beer we headed to the concert. Where I was officially introduced to my first ever Nerdcore concert..
This was an amazing fantastic experience. We heard The Goondocks, Sir Frontalot (the godfather of nercore), Optimus Rhyme, and a few others. There we met up with superfun Remj and then continued to consume a good quantity of alcohol. Finally around 2am the concert was done and I found myself becoming an official Nerd. woohoo!! what game and word shall i develop next.
Well then that was my exciting weekend. Next inthe land of updates, i have officially come out to my parents. By coming out i mean my parents now know that i am gay or at least have gay tendencies as i am with a girl and have been for almost 6 months. Much to my shock my parents or rather mother told e they still love me won't disown me they just don't approve. Here-here. Also I have moved to a new place in the heart of downtown Seattle, it's only 400 a month as it's being split 4 ways. It has a pool, gym, free wifi, rooftop access, BBQ and quite a few other amentities. I work with all my roomies and share a room with my gay boy "friend". He's a rockstar and we get along well. The living situation should be interesting but should be well worth it and we seem to get along pretty great.
well with that my fellow friends although I have much more to share, i am tired and my hands hurt. so with that i bid you adieu. and i'll leave you with a question that i am interested to see you respond to. If you could only use three words to describe your life right now what would they be? mine is TRUST MORE OFTEN.

Nessa, I haven't talked to you in forever. Congrats on coming out to your parents. I know it's tough and they will get more used to it as time passes.......to where they finally "approve."
They raised some awesomness....it shouldn't matter to them who you want to be with - as long as you're happy and they're good to you.
