So I bought a car. It's THE SHIT.
To be a bit more specific, it's a 1998 Audi Cabriolet Convertible. It's red, and it's dead-fuckin-sexy. Spent most of the day jumping through my asshole trying to get the thing registered and get a safety inspection done and blah blah blah. Managed to get everything done except the registration. However, that was good enough to allow me to get it on Pearl with a temporary pass. Planning on going to my command on Monday to get a sticker.
That aside, I made a KILLING at Tower Records today. I love going-out-of-business sales. I bought 14 CDs and two DVDs for just under 50 bucks. It's amazing. Found a copy of George Acosta's newest two-disc mix album for NINETY-NINE CENTS. So awesome.
Proceeded to head to the Pearl Ridge mall and sink two straight hours into DDR Supernova. Met a couple of other skilled players, which makes me happy. I enjoy competition, and they're the first I've found. In the process of taking care of car shit, I headed over to Waikiki and tried to locate this arcade which is supposed to be absolutely amazing called Hawaiian Brian's, but there was no luck to be found in that department. Drove the wrong way down a one-way in the process. That was cool.
Tomorrow will be a lively day of car registration followed by relaxation, the avoidance of money-spending, and (later on) partying.
Things are looking up now that I've got my lovely god damn Audi. I always knew I'd own an Audi at some point. Next step: Audi TT. I'm THERE... when I'm rich.
