So it's my birthday....yippie??? Ohh, it's my 21st BIRTHDAY....cool?? I guess as you can probably imagine turning 21 in the life of someone who is straight edge isn't a huge deal. My parents don't celebrate birthdays and my girlfriend doesn't have a job, so she can't afford to get me a present or anything like that, and you know what.....to me, none of that really matters. I have my own apartment, in which I pay all of the rent on time, I can afford to feed myself, drive myself, and still feed my music obsession. Most of all, the few people I have around me, I really care for. I don't have tons of friends, but the ones I do have I really value, and you can't put a price on that shit. So to me, my 21st birthday isnt about getting piss drunk and having loads of presents...it's about spending time with people you enjoy and realize that sometimes life aint all that bad.
