Lunch went really good. I picked him up and we went to the restaurant. We were kinda just casually chatting, but then I asked him to just listen to me without getting defensive or making excuses for shit, and he ACTUALLY DID!!! He sat and listened to me without interupting and everything. Every other time I've tried to talk to him about stuff like this he gets defensive and gets angry then there's yelling and...well you know.
But we talked about it, then I left him alone about it and we talked about other stuff. Then I took him back to his place, I got the grand tour and got to meet for the 2nd time one of his roomates (and his 5 month old doberman puppy!) He did tell me he was still using human growth hormone, which I'm not sure how it realy differs from plain old steroids so perhaps I'll google it later. The scary thing on that is you inject it (right under the skin BUT STILL!) Considering our history it freaks me out. Fuck, when I had to start giving my kitty insulin injections almost 2 months ago I was shaking and close to puking and had nightmares for the first weeks, and that's just my cat! not even me! So I don't know about that but I'm glad he's being honest about it with me now.
Anyways...so it went well, for those that do't know what the big deal is, check out some previous blogs. Lots of being ditched, lied to and just generally fucked over. And I needed to talk to him about it before I decided to stop trying with him at all as we used to be very close. So now at least he knows how I feel about it so if he doesn't change then...well I guess I'll at least know I tried.
My hansome hubby Nathanial and my bro within minutes of our wedding starting, which is why Nat looks so scared. My bro was his groomsman
and no, Nat isn't a small guy, he's over 6'3 (just a tiny bit taller than me in our bare feet ) but my bro is 6'9 and around 230 lbs
