re. cold - I tried falling asleep under the stars in London where I used to live, it was fantastic-we didn't mow the back lawn so you could see what grass was really up to...you could just make a little nest... just as I was falling asleep I followed a tiny satelite - then I woke up and the dew had come down and frozen, and I was almost dead.

So that's what I'll be doing this weekend, going south to the beloved less friged waters of California... surfing.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. If you've never been, I'd suggest go. It's not as hard as people make it out to be, hell if I can do it, anyone and their 82 year-old grandmother can<<< well that depends on however if your grandma is in tip-top condition or not....
