I'm about to out how fucking old I am, but yeah, I too came of age in the 90's ( I turned 10 in '90) and it was not good.  Probably better than now, but I can only think back to what I wore and question why I was trying to dress like a goth hobo.  Clothes haven't been decent since the early '60's.
