time for another update i suppose
it was a great weekend. didnt stay out late friday because i had to get up at 6am for the bike run. luckily, it did not rain as was forecasted the previous day. but it was damn chilly at 6am. got my friend, then met up with my uncle and two of his friends at some little diner. headed out to the starting point after a little breakfast. boy were there a lot of bikes. all kinds...it wasnt a strictly harley event. any kind of bike, which was cool. finally headed out around 10am and it was an amazing cruise. thousands of bikes, two lines, going down the right lane of the highway. all onramps were blocked off until the train of bikes passed. sure glad i wasnt someone in a car needing to get somewhere. people were on every overpass waving. it was cool. once we arrived at the little farm town that was the destination, it was a big festival. the whole town shut down for this. bikes filled the main street, parked 4 deep along the left and right, leaving a single lane of space for people to walk through in the center. other bikes were scattered in parking lots and various other streets in the city. hung around there for a couple hours then cruised on home. right now, my face is striped with radiation. i have spotty sunburn thanks to my sunglasses and bandana. looks marvelous. but it was fun and hope to do something similar again sometime.
one bad thing...not enough cute girls. mostly some ugly biker guys, but what can you expect

I hear that's what causes a few imaginary friends actually, but not from anyone I've talked to. I thought it was pretty common, but not many people I've asked can remember having them.
