I feel sort of bad for the couple of friends that I have who can't legally drink. But I assure you that alcohol doesn't become boring when it's legal. It's actually better in some weird way. Sneaking around is just a big hassle.
If you like local bands, the Milestone is having a FREE show on Halloween night. The band is 25 Minutes to Go, who are completely awesome. Several of us are going.

The Cure is fairly "emo" but not in a crappy way, if that makes sense. With them it's darker than these crappy skinny-pants-wearing bands out now. I recommend Disintegration, not only is it their darkest album but also their best. But they are very British, and not hard rock at all...be warned! *Edit: The Cure were more responsible for goth, than emo*
Oh yes...the Crue...I've been a Crue fan since I was like 12. They were my first concert actually. G'NR opened for them. My mom took me, haha...she was pretty cool back in the day.
