Update: I have finished Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse Five". The man's a great writer. I could understand from his point of view the point of war and being a prisoner of war. The point he made about "wars have always happened and always will", I couldn't agree with. Some how he suggests that we are supposed to just "get over it" and live our lives? He was resenting war, but yet he looked at it as if it were a natural part of life.
