The pace of things has slowed and allowed me to breathe. I have cooled and calmed and things are better. It was nice to escape the traditional festivities this year in favor of a much-needed solo snowboarding trip to Taos, NM.
Last night was pretty nice. After a decent meal, nothing special just decent, and a slice of fresh self-made Cherry Pie, I went out and enjoyed a few quality beverages at my chosen watering hole.
I gathered enough courage to chat with a lovely I've been interested in forever. It went well. Hopefully there will be more to report on this in future editions. For now, I'm pleased.
