I've been away for a while...
Lost my connection...
But I'm back for now.
Terremoto was sooooooooooo much fun.
Thanks to those who have left input.
Most notable at the show were Billy Talent, a new band from Toronto. Check 'em out. They rock! Their CD just came out. Also, Adema kicked some serious ass.
I enjoyed Sparta and Saves the Day immensely and of course Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit kicked ass as well. Of note was Turbonegro, a very strange Scandinavian band obsessed with pseudo-homosexuality and Erections! These guys had some serious rock to dish out and they are worth seeing. Boysetsfire was a minor disappointment basically because of their political views which their vocalist freely shared between songs, but the pit was insane during their performance. The best pit goes to Sum 41, though. These guys played on the smallest stage and had the sickest pit of all three days. I cannot leave out Alkaline Trio because I have come to feel every beat from these guys. Rock, rock, and more rock. This was a much needed healing for the rock-sick heart.
The time that I leave the Army draws near with a quickness. I am ambivalent about it, now, as the day inches closer. There are certain advantages, you see.
Returning to the States after so long abroad will be quite a shock as well. Who knows how long I'll continue on my downward spiral?
