Slow going, getting started here at SG. This has to be the coolest site ever. But of course this is news to no one here. In regards to the critique I offered Snow on her last set, I get it now. I wonder who or what was keeping her up so long to get her eyes looking like that. Did she do it just for the set? I went ahead and made a desktop from images from her Shake set, and am working on ideas for one from the Pain set. This girl has a draw to her that many like me have succumbed to without hesitation.
I'm still working on ideas for a photo spread of my own to be posted here sometime. I have much to offer in the way of photography and photoshop experience if anyone has any questions or ideas or anything.
Anyone know of any good shows playing in Germany this month? It's been so long since I've heard live music. I don't know about you but for me shows have a way of sustaining me through periods of negativity.
My brother's in Iraq and I haven't heard from him in a while. Goddamn I hope he's doing OK. I'm a soldier too, but I left that area (not Iraq) in May and I'm glad for that. Keep our soldiers in your mind because it seems that they die over there almost every day and that means almost every day some family gets some really bad news.
My car (a 1981 Mercedes Benz 230 CE) is falling apart. I bandaged up the fuel line last summer and then the fan clutch broke so if I'm in a stau (German for traffic jam), the thing WILL overheat. Now the driver's window won't operate properly so I have to grab the glass to lift and lower it, unless I choose to roast. It's hot here. Record European temps. And the car sounds like a lawnmower due to a hidden exhaust leak. But it still runs and it's fast!
Travel seems almost impossible now. The hotels are all booked where I want to go and my companion has bailed on me. I guess I'll just take a day trip and get wasted at the Hofbrauhaus. Winter can't get here soon enough.

as far as i know, the local power (and by local i mean western NY to Syracuse) had power back by nine or ten latest thursday night. rumour (and most of the media sources now) has it that this all began outside of Cleveland, but everyone seems to be up and running again. you're parents should be just fine and connected once again.
sorry to hear about your plight, i have some friends who just got home from Iraq in the last month. i feel fairly terrible for anyone left in the area as the laws of attrition and guerilla warfare are against us on enemy terrain. someone should have studied there military history a tad bit better before occupying an antagonistic city. oh well, hope your sibling fairs as well as my friends did and returns mostly in one piece.
as for the heat... your on your own pal. i'd take a bit of overly warm weather for the chance to travel these days, but then i live in buffalo cause i love the snow. course, be happy its summer and just warm with your car. i'm fairly certain i actually owned that vehicle before you and it REALLY sucks in the winter.
good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of bizarre views, fucked up people, and terribly cute girls. night.
