Shit, I can't believe that both of my posts over this weekend aren't up. There's been a lot of technical issues with respect to groups and messaging, too. I'll have to get back to this later. A lot of noteworthy (to me, anyway) things occurred in the last few days.
Tomorrow we have an appt. to have Lucky's cat of 14 years put down. She's in the final stage of inoperable cancer, treating with Prednisone and morphine to keep her comfortable. I can't walk by her, in her little bed, constantly moving to keep her in the sun she loves so much. Then, I find I'm just there petting on her, and trying to capture a photo of that face with those huge, saucer sized eyes. It seems as though that image has already been captured, and has since passed.
We love you, Billie.

I had to let my dog go after 16 years last April. I know hard hard it can be.
Billie looks like such a cutie too.
I think helping your helpless friends out however you can is one of the most noble things a person can do.
And hard.
Good luck with everything.
