It was my boyfriend birthday on Friday. We went out to the Copper Kettle for supper and low and behold we met NARDWAR!!!
Apparently he was in town for a gig with his band..and they took him out to Copper Kettle for Pizza. He says when he is in a different city he likes to ask the promoters to take him to a place where he can taste that cities real flavour! And..it was the best pizza, CK. So my boyfriend eavesdropped on ther convo a lot and then we were leaving at the same time (how convinient hey?) He went up and talked to him. Supper nice guy, invited us out the the show and asked if he could put us on the guest list. haha..they didnt have a guestlist for the state. It was an experience none the less. He is a super friendly guy and not a thing different then you see him on TV. (a little less hyper when just having a conversation, but he can turn it on and off like that!)

I think I've seen some of these "Dicky Dee's" types around as well. When I was younger and living in San Diego one could also buy fireworks from ice cream trucks. There was a big scandal surrounding such activity as fireworks are very illegal in most of Southern Califonia. Its all so very flamable.
