Now, this is quite possibly my FAVOURITE urban legend.
A young girl is alone at home, with only her dog for company. On the news comes out a story of how there's a serial killer on the loose. So, naturally, she locks all of the doors and window and eventually heads to bed taking her pet with her for comfort.
She's awoken in the night by dripping in the bathroom, she reaches out her hand, and her dog gives her a comforting lick. Every time she feels frightened, her dog licks her lovingly and she eventually falls asleep.
When she wakes in the morning, she finds her pet mutilated in the bathroom hanging from the shower dripping. Written on the wall in blood is the phrase 'Humans can lick too'
