i have never had to actually leave town for a day in order to completely sober up

i have never had to stop and actively think before i use a gender-specific pronoun to refer to the person i share a bed with more than 50% of nights in a week

i've never really thought that i was close to being out of control, but i've also never felt quite so content.

i do wish that people would stop taking my bike without asking me, i mean, i know that i didn't build it but i did buy it, so i am pretty sure that still makes it mine.
