Got my chestpiece started a couple of days ago by Anna Day at Westside Tattoo. She's amazing, I love her work so much. And holy fuck, your sternum hurts like a BITCH to get tattooed. One more session and it's done... not much left to do really, just some shading on the cicada and drop shadows where the mandalas cross over each other. Not looking

this toy pig was $5 from Big W, i actually bought it because i thought the noise it made was hilarious, i didn't really expect Teddy to love it this much...

it's now dead, one ear has been ripped off, stuffing coming out, and the "oinker" part inside it doesn't work anymore. only took him about 3 days to destroy it, haha...

They are funny, my pup always chews the sound bit out first! Then he destroys it.

I moved back to Brisbane a couple of weeks ago.

Feels good to be back near family and stuff.

I'm not working at the moment... well I am, but it's on my writing. It's nice to have a break from retail/customer service for a little while.

Also I never thought I'd say it, but I'm not totally hating the cooler weather. It's nice to be...

Whoa good stories, I liked Mulberries the best, but I can relate to your brother in being the protector plus I am kinda childish haha. So much light and dark too! I spent the whole time reading wondering what made you think about those stories to write them on those particular days after so many years. For somebody that says they like to keep people at arms length you put a lot of yourself out there in your writing. So you can pull people in while holding them off at the same time tongue

I finally worked out that by clicking the "My SG" button, I can see everyone's most recent blog posts as a feed. Unbelievable that it's taken me literally YEARS to figure that out...

Anyway. Anyone else got a tumblr? I've developed a slight obsession with it.

Mine is moth meets flame

That's funny. That's the first thing i look at when i log in.

Been in Darwin for 3 weeks tomorrow. It's really fucking hot, even though it's supposed to be almost winter. Like 35 degrees (celcius) most days. And the humidity... god... it's just draining. Like being in a greenhouse all day, every day, and trying to get a proper lungful of air in the steamy heat.

Everyone local keeps telling me it will cool down soon. I'll...

Currently in Townsville, it's the end of March and the temperatures are still in the high 20s to low 30s (celcius). Good preparation for Darwin, where I'm going to be living for at least 6 months, starting in about 2 weeks time... I'm really looking forwards to getting there actually, from everything I've heard it's about the closest you can get to living in South-East...
