I had an awesome shoot on the weekend. One I had planned for a while now. You see I have been wanting to get more photos published, or at least try to have more stuff published.

Inked Girls is just perfect for me, so this shoot on the weekend was to see if I had what it takes to pull off an important shoot like this. By that I mean, organise it all and then actually take great photos. I was lucky enough to have been in contact with a model from Canada that was coming out here to get married, so I got a local designer to make a corset just for the shoot and also got a local MUA on board.

I rented a really nice hotel room on the Gold Coast (I so LOVE Circle on Cavil - those spa baths that look out over the ocean.....ahhhhhh!). Had a few beers and for the first time, had a light on set too. I NEVER use lights, but I have a couple of permanent lights (ie non flash based, I prefer the lights on all the time), so brought one along and it was just perfect!

It all came together beautifully, and I am in the process of editing now.

I had chatted with the MUA previously and had said that after I shot Chelsey (the model from Canada). I'd do a little shoot with her too (as she's a tattooed model as well).

SOOOOO glad I did. She - Sami - is just stunning too.

Oh and in case you were wondering, all my editing is done for the set I shot with Bibby. The shots are with her and I'm just awaiting her feedback. She is moving house, so I can't rush her, but if you see or speak to her....tell her to hurry up! lol

They will be worth waiting for!
