I am posting this publicly, please feel free to share. In fact I HIGHLY encourage it.
About 3 weeks ago a friend of mine, Anthony, reached out to me asking me if I could help him work on his car. He needed help installing an axle on it. I told him I couldn't do that night, but I would rearrange my schedule to help him with it the next day.
The next day he wrote me back and told me that he got it fixed, and I told him that if he needed any future help I would be more that willing to help, just needed a day or so to make sure I can get my stuff in line.
About a week goes by and he reached out and asked if anyone know where to get a Vintage Motorcycle and I pointed him to a couple places and told him if he needed help that I would be willing to help in whatever what I could.
Last Sunday a friend of mine, posted a video of him playing the guitar. Star Wars, with the caption "may the force be with you".
That would be the last time that he posted to his Facebook.
Within the next few days, Anthony took his own life.
I never got to help Anthony.
So I am saying this. For everyone, I do not care if you're straight, I do not care if you're gay, I do not care about your faith, your creed, your nationality, your race, your background. I do not care if you came from a rich neighborhood, I do not care if you came from the slums.
YOU ARE LOVED. There are people who are willing to listen and help you. You have people to lean on. Suicide is not the answer. You are worthy.
Please, if you need help, reach out to someone, or call 1-800-273-8255 and talk to someone.
