On friday night I went and saw Man of the Year. Going in with low expectation I was pleasantly surprised. Although the movie had its low points.. it was truly a Robin Williams film... funny, witty, and quite insane.
On the contrary, I am not writing this blog to talk about R.W. and his post-Mork & Mindy dayz... No I am writing this blog because on the way out of the theater I saw the movie poster for one of the greatest books I've ever read. Titled 'Perfume: the story of a murderer". Set in 18th century France, this story is unlike anything you've heard before... A clever plot for the murder/gore fans.
Anyhow: If anyone is even remotely interested they should check out this book (its only 310 pages!) I can almost guarantee they will not be disappointed.
So where does this leave the movie? well quite honestly I dont know... but Im sure as hell gonna see it when it hits the big screen...
