So the other night my girl and I made plans to go out to dinner with my tattoo artist and his fella. When I called to coordinate, the fella suggested a restaurant that we had not been to, but I knew to be quite expensive. I was a little apprehensive as I don't have a whole lot of money, but I didn't want to be the stick-in-the-mud.
So we go and the food was good and the service was excellent. There were no prices on the menu though, it was a deal where you get a four course meal with wine and there were only a couple of choices for each course.
At the end of the night, our tattoo guy picked up the bill. We put up a (little) fight, but he took it nonetheless. Now I feel awkward. It was really expensive. We can reciprocate by taking them out to dinner sometime, but not at those levels.
I don't know if this is something to make a big deal out of, or if I am just worrying too much as usual.
Thank you
P.S. My professional tattoo artist thought the whole DEVASTATED thing was ridiculous.
