So the Warped Tour blew through my town the other day. The venue was quite literally across the street from my house. I waffled back and forth about going, but in the end I stayed home.

Here's why:
-It was $30
-I don't like people, especially kids.
-I don't like the crap kids listen to
-No readmittance meant I would have to pay $16.50 for water when my house is right over there
-I'm too damn old for festival concerts
-It was muddy

So why would I want to go in the first place? Well, there was one band I wanted to see, and more importantly, it was across the street from my house. The easy access was very tempting.

At any rate, the roads were impossibly choked with traffic all day. My little dead-end street was flooded with people looking for parking and 19 year old steak heads urinating all over the place. I sat out on my second floor porch for a while with a bucket of water hoping one of them would try it in my yard.

Thank you

That's cool. The Legend of Zelda taught be that if you blow up old guys' doors with bombs, sometimes they make you pay for repairs.

That sounds really familiar but I can't remember which it's from. It also made me think of Link's Awakening, and how it's possible to steal from one of the shops. However the next time you go in, the guy behind the counter zaps you with mega huge lightning bolts and you die.

The red hair dye deal isn't just you. My girlfriend has been dying her hair red for years and in her experience she has found that there is no product, either professional or home-use that doesn't fade after a handful of days. It's a very high maintenance do.

I don't mind it fading, I'm just surprised it's fading, considering the last time I dyed it this exact color, I don't remember it fading like this. Oh well, just one more reason to do purple! biggrin
