So today at 3 AM I had to go let the girl upstairs in to her apartment because her brother had taken her keys. I found out that said brother is addicted to some serious drugs and has been in and out of polite society numerous times in the last few years. He has also been hanging around a lot lately.
It occured to me that if he had her key, he had access to the back door which goes right into the basement and right to all my tools. I had to go check that they were still there and bar the back door with a chair.
Today I have to go tell her that if she can't get the keys back within a day or so, I'll have to have the locks changed at her expense. I'll probably also have to issue a tresspass against the brother. It'll be my first. What fun.

What about remodeling your properties to a level of sophistication that would attract a better clientele...I have a ton of ideas and resources in this area...I'm going to impliment some this year if things go well.
