This was the most enjoyable work week in with this company......well maybe ever. the first day was quite unproductive, IT stuff or trying to make computer connect to corp network through broadband. "oh darn, VPN ain't workin" next day went to San Fran bay area to the local office, all expenses paid, rippin around like a madman in a tie for second best rental car i've ever had (pontiac G6 packin a V6, XM radio, remote starter, etc...) and eatin good on the company. i haven't shaved since Wed since i wasn't going to see any customers or coworkers for that matter. it was rather tempting at one point to streak the office just to say i did it. i did keep busy though, highlight being supervising the moving of a 30000 lb machine into the office. next week different one goes out.

on the flip side, corporate politics are swirling around me (not touching yet though) as my former boss who is in charge of the local office and my current boss who's on the east coast are fighting over who's employee i am. it's kind of funny actually, especially since i don't care. unless it effects my new arrangement, then i will care.
