Day 1 of my path to becoming a full fledged vegan.
Starting the morning with cereal in almond milk is so weird to me compared to my usual breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns with cheese and tomato, and butter slathered toast, but I guess I can get used to this. (I'm blaming the veganism but to be honest, I'm just flat out too lazy right now to cook anything this morning). The almond milk is really taking me a while to get used to; the last time I tried to be vegan, the soy products really messed me up and made my hair smell like soy-cheese so this time I am going to do everything I can to work around soy products.
If anyone happens to read this (ehehe) and is a vegan/vegetarian, do you have any good breakfast recipes/ideas that you personally use? I mean I could google them or go pick up a cookbook, but I guess I like knowing what people have tried and maybe little adjustments they may have made for their own liking.

Hey Necrotica, i've been vegan for a few years and the best breakfast is "granola" i don't know the translation of that.. basicaly is almonds, fiber, candied or dried fruits, cereals all toasted and then mixed with molasses, That and a mixed carrot, kiwi and peach juice and you have energy for the whole day!!

I didn't even know cats could be vegans ;-) I'm not a vegan (or even a vegetarian), but I'd second those who have posted that fruits and fiber and veggies are the way to go. Wishing you success in staying w/ your new diet!
