Family, I love'em, & I hate'em. The dinner tuesday went well. Only had to listen to two hours of my cousin TJ talking through his ass. Think of the most ingnorant, uneduacted, arrogant redneck you can come up with and he is that. Though he did not make it through - now get this- Army, Navy, and Air Force Basic training because of "training accidents", he talks as if he has been in service for ten years. I listen and wonder how does an individual so dumb make it through life without finding a way to off themselves - whether voluntary or not. I asked him one day why he did not bother to try the Marine Corps. and he said the recruiter laughed him out of the office. yet he did not know why, he was truely perplexed.
My Cousin Mike graduated West Point and was sent to Aphganistan(sic) and wrote us to send him some good boots. Now, whatever your personal opinion of the war is, don't you think that the Army should have already figured that out by now. I mean WTF, you can't even get the man some proper boots? Nuke the place and let's end it. This pussy-footing around is going nowhere fast. If we want to come out of this with dignity, we need to take the gloves off and finish it right. Back out now - no. Annialate every mountain over there - blow it up.

Well, all else is calm, the wife is happy ergo I am happy.
