This week and next I finally have a bunch of diagnostic procedures and hopefully can get better, actionable info for the health issues I've been juggling since January.
One of my doctors put me on a restricted FODMAP diet a couple months ago which thankfully has already made a big difference. I was on a running hiatus for a while, but as evidenced by several recent posts I've been able to get back to it. Slowly building mileage and speed back up though, as I'm still restricted to lower intensity efforts. Getting to run again at all is better than not though, and I'm grateful for what I can do right now.
That said, this week will be a little hard as I have multiple procedures that require fasting so. Will likely be a bit cranky over here for at least a few days. Worst of it will be over after today though 🤞🏻.
As much as this isn't currently the most fun I've ever had, after months of waiting to see specialists, then more months of waiting for procedures, I'm glad to hopefully finally get some answers.
Of course, my car and headphones both died yesterday but at that point I just had to laugh. I can't drive for a few days anyway (have to get driven to hospital bc anesthesia etc). So. Hoping it's just an alternator or battery replacement and something straightforward/not horribly expensive. Either way, it's currently a problem for later.
And after all this, only good things right?
And for sitting through all that, here's a photo dump of a bunch of recent outdoor activities, including a visit from @adastra!
