Just thinking about all my SG friends and the SGHQ folks in LA and hoping everyone is safe from the fires 🙏🏻💜

It's terrible I spent 24 hours looking for my friend's in LA County California. I found them eventually and they lost their house in the Palisades LA neighborhood. I hope everyone in our SG family is okay.

Health stuff crashed quite a bit recently, haven't been able to run or do much at all for a couple weeks. I struggle with slowing down - but am just wrapping up a really nice week and a half off. I did spend several days of that backpacking, which maybe is not so much relaxing or slow haha. But it was a good mental reset! Especially since I adopted a new kitten right after getting home. Which has made lazing around at home a lot more...

Melanie Rawn has some great stuff.  Although the Ruins of Ambrai series isn't finished, sadly.  I loved parts 1 and 2, but part 3 had been awaited for a few decades now.  kinda like George RR Martins next book.  If you haven't yet, I would advise The Dresdon Files.  Love those books so much!
