Christmas Day, eh? I don't see what's so great about it. I got woken up early-early by my sister, after about 3 hours of sleep. I would thankfully have slept for another thousand hours, thank you very much. First thing I pulled out of me stocking was a thousand-dollar cheque from my parents. Great gift? Maybe. I'm going to use it to live, and living is just about my favourite thing yet... but it kind of makes me feel bad. My parents aren't that far away from retirement age, and I'm not sure its appropriate for them to be lavishing that kind of money on both me and my sister (who got the same thing). On the other hand, I have a really rough time just handing a thousand dollars back, when I know goddamned well that I'm going to need it in order to stay full-time at school. Which I want to do, since I want to get this damnable degree done; I've only been in school for 5 years now. It'd be nice if I finally got a degree, right?
Right.
Seeing the Two Towers again tomorrow with the family. I wonder how busy/crazy its going to be on Boxing Day?

I wish I could afford to pick up some more Frank.
The Best is Yet to Come is great, but I always identify it with Tony Bennett.
