ladies and gentss, the best of the morning to you...
for all of you who may read my column you've all known about my job finding difficulties...
somehow i went from finding work anywhere right away, and neglecting my true passion in design, to finding my passion in design, and finding work nowhere!
it is the strangest thing...that each time i make a move to apply to a job in banking, or coffee, something goes wrong, yet my attempts to find something in graphic design have all been positive thus far...
true, i don't have the hours, or the pay that i might have gotten in a bank or coffee shop, but i have the flexibility i need while i am finishing up my last semester in school, and the experience in need in my field...
the only downfall to this is i took steps to have loans and financial aid cover me for the summer and most of the first two weeks of the semester, assuming i would be making a steady paycheck...now it seems this won't happen and i must take steps again to get some sort of loan to hold me together until spring semester...
five steps forward, two steps back...
but i'm happy at least, yes i will owe some money when i get out of school, but i know what i want to do, and know i will have some measure of success doing it...
it's the waiting...
as the venerable Hannibal Lecter imparted to his lovely clarise in the silence of the lambs.....
"all good things to those who wait."
