today it ocurred to me just how fulfilling manual labor is...to work with the big heavy tools, and lifting, and balancing...the mud on your hands and feet
to be able to take your shirt off and not worry about ties or starched shirts... feeling the blisters, and the way your body aches after a good days work...
the frustration and the satisfaction after it all turns out all right...
it is quite different, the feeling than, lets say, sitting in front of a computer all day...
one actually feels good about life...
i sometimes imagine myself going far away, to maybe japan...to be a wanderer looking for a dojo that can teach me something new...
all the while doing things with my hands...
yes i wouldn't have room to carry cd' or a computer, maybe perhaps a book...and a small instrument to keep me entertained while i rest under the trees...
working when i needed food, or shelter from the rain...
a dreamers fancy you say?
beats taking prozac and visiting the personal psychiatrist each week...and getting stuck in traffic, and worry about bills...
i would be giving up a lot...and gaining so much more...

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
And hey, I hear you about getting fed up with traffic, bills, and antidepressants! Just keep your chin up, man
